EVENTS > CULTURAL EVENING
The cultural evening program comprised of a number of dance numbers on which the students of both the schools gave brilliantly astonishing performances. Teachers were also in disguise on the stage which boosted high the energy and the confidence level of the students. This event proved to be very much fascinating and mind blowing ones.
The first cultural evening was organized at our Mulund Skills and Ability School separately on February 09, 2008 . Despite the disability being severe amongst the children, their astonishing performances left the audience in awe as they performed various dance numbers. Each item was, very thoughtfully, designed by our team of special educators. Care was taken that all children, whether on wheel chair or not, were given an opportunity to show their talents on stage. A skit, "Chotyani Jinkle", enacted on the day, was further presented at the State Level function organized by Natyashala. The performance was awarded the first prize for best costume. It enhanced self confidence when they received such genuine appreciation and love from the audience.
It is solely through such platform that these children gain appreciation and recognition. This inculcates in them a feeling of pride and a feeling of being wanted and loved by all which is very much evident from their charming and blushing gestures.
