1. Independence Day
15 August, the day of independence for the country, is celebrated with great reverence in the school. All the students attend the short ceremony, which consists of flag hoisting, speech by students and group song. This year, a street play on national integration was performed by a group who call themselves - Naujawan-e-Hind. The play focused on the diversity present in our country, present day violence and terrorism and politics.
2. Teachers Day
This year parents group took up the onus of felicitating the teaching staff on the occasion of Teacher's Day. The regular pattern of older students taking the role of teacher and conducting classes took place in the first half of the session. Later, parents organized interactive competitions for the teachers. This is the only occasion, where teachers are participants and they need not plan on activities.
3. Dahi Handi
Dahi Handi was celebrated in the school with students breaking the handi that was hung. It was enjoyable moment for all as the students dressed as Krishna and danced to the beat. In the morning, the teachers narrated the story to the students in small groups. Later in the day, they prepared themselves to form small human pyramid. It was a great moment of fun and a test of skill for the older boys.
4. Ganpathi
Ganpathi festival was celebrated in the school by both the divisions. In the morning, Div A students brought the Ganesha in to the school premises and Div B students immersed the idol. The celebration went on for 10 days, with puja being conducted twice in a day. The students decorated the mandap , which was made by teachers. The Primary and NIOS group students prepared the decoration material with the help of the teaching staff.
5. Ramjan Id
This year parents had decided to celebrate Ramjan Id On Oct16th,2008. All students come in civil dress, Parents had given sweet to all (sheer curma). This was first time in the school that we have celebrated the Ramjan Id.
6. Diwali
Before Diwali vacation start, we have celebrated Diwali party on last day of the school, on same day we have also celebrated Dandiya in the school. All students come in civil dress. Everybody enjoyed a lot.
7. Christmas
Christmas party is celebrated on 24 th Dec,2008 . before the vacation start students come in civil dress this year we have made a big Christmas tree in the center one of the well wisher come in the santa's costume & distribute the toys to all students everybody enjoyed lot this was new experience to the students.
8. Republic Day
26 January, the day of Republic Day for the country, is celebrated in the school. All the students attend the short ceremony, which consists of flag hoisting, speech by students and group song. Students had shown their potential through the P.T Drill. Everybody had appreciated our students. It is also one of the days where all the students, parents and staff of the school come together. We distributed the sweets among the students.
9. Dhuliwandan
On this day we set the small Holi in the school, students played with colors and water with the help of the teachers. We distributed sweets to students.
10. Cultural Event
As per every year we have conducted Cultural Evening this year also on 23r feb,2008. at school premises. Myself arranged the Decoration, Sound system, Photographs, Refreshment, and Gifts etc. Every student has participated in the programme. Every staff has involved enthusiastically & lots of interest. We facilitated to our guest, All staff including helper, volunteers as well as those who had completed the half marathon successfully.
11. School Picnic
On March 20,2008 we have conducted the picnic for the staff and students to Havy-Bhusi Resort at Pen. It's a Farm House. This picnic arranged by Vasundhars, Jayshree, Rohini & Aruna. This picnic was excellent. We collected the fund for this picnic through the contributions from students (Rs.150/- per head) as well as from donations through some wellwishrwes.
