STANDARD CHARTERED MUMBAI MARATHON

The Mumbai Marathon as an event was first introduced to the city in 2004. Although the first event was modest in proportion it set the standard that launched the next years of marathon to a much larger scale event. The purpose of the event was multifaceted but a central tenet was that of fundraising, giving individuals and corporates a chance to raise money for a cause of their choice. The possibility to run for a cause provides a platform of interaction between the citizens in a celebration that cuts across social and economic barriers. In this view, ICMH joined in 2006 and have been participating almost all races.

For a company, run fur a cause is an excellent way to show their compassion. Show that they really care. Also, our institution is a very renowned NGO with more than 60 years, which fight against one of the biggest social problems of India . When a company decided to share their brand in collaboration with ICMH, they are receiving all the good attributes related our cause. They are raising in a transparent, accountable and effective way to make a difference to the lives of the underprivileged.

In the same view, ICMH have a lot of friends that was sensibilized for our cause and run for us in the half-marathon. As well for the Wheelchair Event.  Particularly, a t the recent Mumbai Marathon, disabled participants not only took part, shoulder-to-shoulder with the non-disabled participants, but also displayed an intense competitive spirit.

To run for charity is necessary to choose one of the following options:

You will receive a Pledge Kit and United Way will help you receive payments, send receipts and 80G certificates.
