The school has laid due emphasis on providing practical experiences to children as this is an area which is ignored largely by families due to the stigma attached on mental disability. From this perspective exposure visits are carried out to railway stations, restaurants, parks, shopping malls, farm houses etc. Such activities are both a recreation and a learning experience for them.

These exposure visits form the basic foundation for effective communication during classroom sessions and activities. All these visits form the basis on which interaction and communication in the class sessions are built upon and made more effective by the special educator.

A visit to the Spencer Mall by the Hearing Impaired Division was organized to understand its functioning and structure. The various learnings from such visits later formed the basis of classroom teaching.

The students from the Pre-Primary Class went to 'Sagar Vihar', a picnic spot at Vashi in Navi Mumbai. This was a fun learning experience for the children..

A visit was also made to the Nerul Water Pump House. The children witnessed how water is made available to the Township.

An exposure visit was planned for older students, above twelve years of age, to the Yusuf Meherally Center . There, they had practical experience of seeing a variety of cottage industries-oil extraction, soap manufacturing from neem, bakery products, nursery, dairy, carpentry and organic fertilizer made by earthworms. It was a very thrilling learning experience.
